The cyclic movement of the rain is beautifully depicted by the poet Walt Whitman. He describes that firstly, it rises out of the land and the bottomless sea in the form of water vapours.
Then it rises towards the sky where, when it cools down, it takes the shape of showers. The showers then fall back to the place of its origin- the Earth.
Hence, the cycle is complete and the rain goes on completing this fixed cycle day in and day out.
This is similar to what we have learnt about the water cycle in science.
