how is the entry of food prevented in the wind pipe while swallowing it ?

When we eat food , food enters in food pipe and then in stomuch.

But if we eat food in hurry , then there is a possibility that the food enters in wind pipe instead of food pipe.

There is a opening called epiglottis which prevents food from entering wood pipe.It closes when we  swallow food
