how is the environment &lifestyle different in the poles as compared to the other regions

The environment in North pole is completely different to that of south pole.North pole is usually dry and marshy and snow occur rarely , on the other hand south pole is covered with snow ,it is cold and wet because the is frequent snow falls.The types of animals living on both poles are also different.
