Law of conservation of mass: This law states that the total mass in a chemical reaction remains constant that is the total mass on the reactant side will be equal to the total mass on the product side in a chemical reaction.

Now, in a chemical reaction:

Mass of the reactant = 253 amu.

Mass of the product = 235 amu.

As ,the mass of reactant = Mass of product

Hence, this experiment verifies the law of conservation of mass.
