f=g*m1*m2/r^2

gravitational formula given above

hence

if seperation is reduced to half then new seperation

r=r/2

new gravitational force

f''=g*m1*m2/(r/2)^2

f''=g*m1*m2/(r/4)

f''=4*g*m1*m2/r^2

hence f''=4*f

hence magnitude of new gravitational force becomes 4 times its original value after seperation is reduced to 1/2 its original value :))
