how is the method use by bats to navigate similar to the method adopted by sonar ? use a schematic diagram to show its flight in the jungle, may be you have a few trees, a rock and some tall trees

bats send some sound waves in forward direction .If there is any obstacle forward the waves strike them and return to the bats.
They understand that there is an obstacle infront and change their way. In sonar ultrasonic waves are send in the sea or ocean to check the obstacles in front.
