Answer:

The mid day meal program might help promote greater equality as children of all casts, rich or poor can sit together to eat. Government provided equal right to all children to avail this facility, abolishing inequality. This programme has also helped reduce caste prejudices because both lower and upper caste children in the school eat this meal together. It helps the students of lower castes who have no money to spend in education. It provides the students knowledge and by giving them food they are more active and concerned about their studies. They do their lessons without a hungry stomach and by this they are more thrilled to have education. Hence, the mid day meal scheme provides many facilities to the students who go their for studying.

Hope it helps :)
