If we compare it with Earth then these are the few points :-
1. Absense of liquid water.
2. Absense of tectonic plates.
3. Absence of atmosphere.
Since Moon does not have any atmosphere, there is nothing which can stop meteoroids from colliding the moon's surface. Due to this, their are also too many impurities on the surface of moon

The surface of the moon is full of rocky mountains and craters. Previously astronomers thought there is no water on moon but now they have found that water is present on moon.
