The motion of the stars is the same thing as the motion of the sun. The sun is just a random star that we decided to call the sun. The sun, and the other stars, move in several ways. It moves internally as the gas that makes up the sun moves around. It also revolves around the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. Additionally, it moves linearly as the Milky Way moves away from the center of the Big Bang.
