How is the movement of leaves of the sensitive plant different from the movement of a shoot towards in tabular form?

The biological name of sensitive plant is mimosa pudica.When we touch the leaves of sensitive plant then the leaves get folded.But these is not an example of tropism it is due to the presence of pulvini in it.The pulvini contains a lot of water in their cells.So the the folding of leaves of sensitive plant is due to the sudden loss of water from pulvini present at the base of leaves which make the pulvini lose their firmness.
