How is the rate of evaporation of liquid related to the intermolecular forces acting in it? On the basis define volatile liquids..

when the amount of intramolecular forces (also called Van der Waals forces) are low in a volatile liquid we required less amount of energy and less time to break those forces and convert liquid into solid ,so therefore the rate of evaporation of liquods are inversely proportional to the intramolecular forces acting on it.
