How is the rate of formation of O₂ related to the rate of consumption N₂O₅ if the decomposition of N₂O₅ is represented by the equation
2N₂O₅ (g) → 4NO₂ (g) + O₂ (g)

The rate of formation of the O2 in the whole reaction will be as follows:

O₂=1/2 * (rate of decomposition of N₂O₅)

Or this can be calculated with the,

∆[O₂]/∆ t = -1/2∆ * [N₂O₅]/ ∆t

The rate of the concentration can be calculated by putting them in the value as per K2[NO2][No3]
