The walls of small intestine contain glands which secrete intestinal juice. This contains enzymes to convert:
Proteins amino acids,Complex Carbohydrates , glucose, Fats fatly acids & glycerol
The digested food components are absorbed into the walls of the intestine.

The small intestine contains certain things (don't no how to describe ) called villi that absorb nutrient into blood
