The standard meridian of India is the 82.5º east longitude which passes through Allahabad. ... 82&1/2 Eastlongitude is the standard meridian of India. It passes through Alhabad (Mirzapur) Uttar Pradesh. The Indian standard Time (IST)will be calculated from this meridian only.
