object to be cleansed are put in a cleaning solution and ultrasonic sound waves are passed through that. high frequency of these waves detaches the dirt from objects.

This happens as follows :

The object that is to be cleaned is placed in the cleaning solution. Ultrasonic waves are sent through the solution. The ultrasonic waves stir the solution,so the particles of dust, grease and dirt vibrate rapidly and become loose. After becoming loose they get detached from the object and fall in the solution. Now the object gets cleaned
