Hey there !!
we know that log10=1
100=10² and log100=log10² so by using logaˣ=xloga
we can write log10² as 2log10 =2*1=2

Generally this is the Basic formula that helps me remember LOGARITHM...
Note : - When no base is given in "log", the base is 10. .... And when no base is given to "ln", the function's base is e = 2.718281828...
Also here, 100 = 10^2,
So log 100 = log (10^2) = 2 log 10 , where log 10 = 1
So log 100 = 2*1 = 2
