how know if parrots are male or female



becoz i bought a parrot

Simple you have to wait for 32 -34 months after a birth of a bird , after getting at this age a male parrot will start showing its masculine characteristics ,a ring will start appearing around his neck which will be a black in color . .while females won't show all these characteristics when attaining the age of 32 -34 months ..so this is how you can identify males in parakeets.
