if there is no economic opportunities than the person is unable to eat. he cannot earn and live a good life.and the availibility of daily commodities will be not possible. as there is no economic or job opportunities because of it is desert are and no availability of water and sunlight. so no agriculture nad industry can be flourished.
therefore the density of population is low in such region
