Longitudes are imaginary lines runing from north to south of the globe

They are used to locate direction but also in telling time .

Prime meridian is the main longitude at 0°.all the other longitudes are infered from prime meridian .if one is moving towards to the west then for every one degree one travels there is an addition of four minutes while when travelling towards the east one loses four minutes for every one degree travelled
