How long a piece of wire would you need to form a circular arc subtending an angle of 1.6 rad , if the radius of the arc is 8.3 cm ?

your answer is ---

Given,

radius r = 8.3cm and arc angle @ = 1.7rad

Now ,

we know that

@ = s/r

=> 1.6 = s/8.3

=> s = 1.6 × 8.3

=> s = 13.28cm

Hence, 13.28 cm long a piece of wire would you need to form a circular arc subtending an angle of 1.6 rad , if the radius of the arc is 8.3 cm .
