Charlemagne empire influenced Europe for more than one hundred years after his death. The other name of Charlemagne was Charles the great. He was given this name because he brought light into Europe for so long. For the first time in history, he united most parts of the Europe continent. As a result of this, he was named the father of Europe. He really encouraged arts education and culture during his reign. He managed to tag the Europe continent out of the cultural stagnation which was seemingly never ending.
