How long will it take for sound wave of 25 cm wavelength and 1.5 kHz frequency of, to travel a distance of 1.5km❓ ​

speed of sound = wavelength of sound wave × frequency of sound wave

given, wavelength = 25cm = 0.25m

frequency = 1.5 kHz = 1500 Hz

so, speed of sound = 0.25m × 1500Hz

= 375 m/s

time taken to travel a distance of 1.5km or 1500m by sound wave , t

t = distance/speed of sound wave

= 1500/375 = 4 sec

hence, time is required to travel 1.5 km distance by sound wave is 4 sec
