breadth =400m

perimeter= sum of all sides

= 2*(600+400)

= 2000 m......(1)

side of square field = 400m

perimeter = 4*side

= 4*400

rectangular field's perimeter is 400 m more

2) breadth= 100m

perimeter = 560 m

2*(length + breadth)= 560.m

L +B= 280 => L+ 100=280

length= 280-100= 180
