How long will it take for the body accelerated by 2m/s square to gain a velocity of 10m/s starting from rest

v = u + a×t
where u is initial velocity
v is final velocity
a is acceleration
and t is time.
Sol : u is given 0 m/sec because the body starts from rest
v is given as 10 m/sec
and a is given as 2 m/sec^2
now we have to calculate time
so put the values in the above equation
10=0 +2×t
2t = 10
t=10/2
t = 5 sec.
