1) Let the metal be M such that
M + 1/2 Cl2 ------> MCl
as shown in pic.

Mass of M = 0.456g
Mass of MCl = 0.606g

2) Let the Molecular mass of Metal M be (x) .

Now, By reaction
No. of moles of M = No. of moles of MCl

3) No. of electrons loses by M in reaction is 1 .
So, Equivalent mass of M is
107.92 / 1
= 107.92 g
