Answer:

In one minute, A and B can fill = 125+130=6+5150=11150 part

In 10 minutes, A and B can fill = 11150×110=1115 part

Remaining part = 1−1115=415 part

415 part is to be filled by A

In one minute A can fill 125 part

415 part can be filled in minutes 415×25=203=623 minutes

Total time taken to fill the tank 10+623=1623 minutes

Answer:

\huge\underline\bold {Answer:}

Part of cistern filled by 1st pipe in 1 min = 1/20

Part of cistern filled by 2nd pipe in 1 min = 1/25

Therefore part of cistern filled by both the pipes together in 1 min = 1/20 + 1/25

= 9/100

Hence the cistern will be filled by both the pipes together in 100/9 min.
