How long would a force of 30n act on a body of mass 10kg so the body gain velocity of 24m/s?

m=10kg
f=30N
v=24m/s
let body initially be at rest then, u=0
a=change in velocity/time
  =(v-u)/t
  =(24-0)/t
  =24/t
we know f=ma
                30=10*24/t
                   t=10*24/30
                    =8sec
therefore, a body would take 8sec to gain velocity of 24m/s if a force of 30N acts on it.
