Heya user,

Consider the following points ----->

( i ) Location -> Lungs are located at either side of the human thorax --> It lies on the upper region and rests upon a diaphragm..
-> Kidneys, on the contrary, lie in the abdominal cavity, i.e., the lower region

( ii ) Functional units ->
-----------> Lungs : Alveoli or Air Sacs [ Surface of gaseous Exch ]= 80cm
²
-----------> Kidneys : Nephrons [ 30 - 55 mm long ]

iii ) Function -->
------------> Lungs : Lungs are pulmonary organs used for respiration.
They are studied under the respiratory system and works for the exchange of gases [ CO2 and O2 ]

------------> Kidneys : Renal Organs used for Cleansing of blood -- Studied under excretory system -- Involves Re-absorption of Water and Minerals ... And basically, scans out all Nitrogenous wastes as urea

( iv ) Lungs are vital organs while damage of Kidneys can be Balanced by the use of Dialysis ....

------------------------>>Kidney starts with 'k' and lungs with 'l'<<---------------------------
