cAll of us know what magnets are how they're made. There are many uses of magnets in our daily lives specially the ferromagnetic ones. But anything, used for a long time, eventually loses its sheen and gets a little boring. And in this era of advancing technology it has become easier to come up with new things. New research has shown that it is possible to make magnets out of plastics. They can have the same properties of ordinary magnets!

All magnets are made of a group of metals called the ferromagnetic metals. These are metals such as nickel and iron.

They do not necessarily utilize any magnetic material in their construction. Because any moving electric current produces a magnetic field, a magnet can be made out of a battery and a wire. If the wire is formed in a loop, it creates a magnetic field with a north and south pole like permanent magnets.

The particular temperatures and presence of vacuum or inert gas is specific to the type and grade of magnet being produced.
