Given: Individual resistance, R=176 Ω

I=5 A

V=220 V

Let Number Of Resistors Be x.

Then,

[tex]R_{1}  = R_{2} = ....... = R_{x} = R = 176Ω .....(i)

For resistor in Parallel,

\frac{1}{R_{eq}} = \frac{1}{R_{1}} + \frac{1}{R_{2}} +..... + \frac{1}{R_{x}} .....(ii)

From (i) and (ii).

R_{eq} = \frac{176}{x} ......(iii)

By ohm's Law.

V=IR_{eq}

220=5R_{eq} ......(iv)

Substituting (iii) in (iv)

220 = 5* \frac{176}{x}

n=4
