How many 3m cube can be cut from a cuboid measuring 18 m into 12 m into 9 m?

volume of cuboid is 18 x 12 x 9 =1944m³

volume of cube =3³=27 m³

therefore no. of cubes =\frac{1944}{27}



=72 cubes ans..

volume of the cuboid = length * breadth * height = 18 * 12 * 9 = 1944 m3

volume of 3 m cube = (side)3 = 33= 27 m3

no. of cubes that can be made = 1944/27 = 72

therefore, 72 cubes of side 3 m can be made from the cuboid of dimensions 18 m * 12 m * 9 m
