Smallest 4 Digit Number is 1000 And the greatest 4 Digit Number is 9999.

The number between 1000 and 9999 which is divisible by 3 are = 1002 , 1005 , 1008,....9999

Here,

First term (A) = 1002

Common difference (D) = 1005 - 1002 = 3

Last term (Tn) = 9999

a+(n-1) × d = 9999

1002+(n-1) × 3 = 9999

1002 + 3n - 3 = 9999

3n = 9999-999

3n = 9000

n = 9000/3

n = 3000

The number of term which is divisible by 3 between 1000 and 9999 is 3000.
