here volume of big sphere is equal to new spheres of radius 0.5cm which r going to e made
let the no of spheres be x
volume of big sphere=4/3 phi 10^3
=4/3 phi 10^3 cu.cm
Volume of x spheres = x*4/3 phi 0.5^3
since volumes are equal
4/3 *phi* 10^3= x*4/3* phi* 0.5^3
on simplyfying we get
10^3=x*0.5^3
x=1000/0.5*0.5*0.5
x=8000 spheres
