Solution:

Each memory cell holds one bit of information and is made up of two parts: a transistor and a capacitor. These are, of course, extremely small transistors and capacitors so that millions of them can fit on a single memory chip.

For 0bits the capacitor holds no any bit of information.

For 1bit the capacitor holds the bit of information - a 0 or a 1  

For8bits the capacitor holds the bit of information256 as (0 and1)

For 1byte it takes similar as 8bits contain because 8bits=1bybte.
