Bricks:

dimension = l × b = 20 × 10

Length, l = 20 cm

Breadth, b = 10 cm

Area covered by one Brick = length × breadth

☛ 20 × 10

☛ 200 cm²

Floor of Room:

dimension = L × B = 25 × 16

length, L = 25 cm

breadth, B = 16 cm

Area of floor = L × B

☛ 25 × 16

☛ 400 cm²

Total brickes required = Area of floor ÷ area of one brick

☛ 400/20

☛ 40/2

☛ 20

20 bricks are required.

Cost of 100 bricks = 8.50

Cost of 20 bricks:

☛ 8.50/100 × 20

☛ 8.50 / 5

☛ 1.704

Hence, Cost of total bricks required is:

☛ ₹ 1.704
