Area of wall = lb

= 250×125=31250 cm^2

Area of brick=25×5

=125cm^2

No. of bricks= 31250/125

= 250

therefore 250 bricks will be required

To find : How many bricks will to required ?

Solution :

A wall 250 cm high and 125 cm long.

The area of the wall is A_w=l\times b

A_w=250\times 125

A_w=31250\ cm^2

A brick 25 cm long and 5 cm high.

The area of the brick is A_b=l\times b
