Volume of cuboid = length * breadth * height

Volume of wall = 12*6*4.5 m^3
                        = 324 m^3
                        = 324000000 cm^3

Volume of one brick = 18 * 12 * 10 cm^3
                                 = 2160 cm^3

remained after occupied by mortar=324000000 - (32400000/10)
                                                       = 29160000 cm^3
Let number of bricks be n

Volume of wall after mortar use = n(Volume of a brick)

29160000 = n(2160)

n = 29160/2160
n = 13500

no. of bricks used = 13500

Cost of 100 bricks = 225
Cost of 1 brick = 225/100 =2.25
cost of 13500 bricks = 2.25 * 13500
                                 = 30375.....

Cost = 30375
