Answer:

volume of bricks = l×b×h

12.5 ×7.5 ×5

468.75 c.c

length =12.5 m

12.5×100

1250 cm

height =15 m

15×100

1500 cm

breath =0.5 m

0.5×100

50 cm

volume of wall =l×b×h

1250×1500×50

93750000 c.c

how many bricks are required = volume of wall ÷volume of bricks

93750000÷ 468.75

200000 bricks

Given :

Dimensions of Brick :

  • Length of Brick = 12.5cm

  • Breadth of Brick = 7.5cm

  • Height of Brick = 5cm

___________

Dimensions of wall :

  • Length of wall = 12.5m

  • Breadth of wall = 15m

  • Height of wall = 0.5m

To Find :

Number of bricks

Solution :

As in question Length, Breadth and height of a brick and a wall is given. So firstly we will convert dimensions of wall in cm. Then find the Volume of Brick and Wall that is Length × Breadth × Height. After Finding the volume of wall and Brick we Can easily find the number of bricks

Length of wall = 12.5m = 1250cm

Breadth of wall = 15m = 1500cm

Height of wall = 0.5m = 50cm

Volume of Brick = L × B × H

Where,

  • Length (L) = 12.5cm

  • Breadth (B) = 7.5cm

  • Height (H) = 5cm

___________

➤ Volume of Brick = 12.5 × 7.5 × 5

➤ Volume of Brick = 93.75 × 5

➤ Volume of Brick = 468.75 cm

Volume of wall = L × B × H

Where,

  • Length (L) = 1250cm

  • Breadth (B) = 1500cm

  • Height (H) = 50cm

___________

➤ Volume of wall = 1250 × 1500 × 50

➤ Volume of wall = 1875000 × 50

➤ Volume of wall = 93750000cm

Number of Brick required

➤ Volume of Wall/Volume of wall

➤ 93750000/468.75

➤ 200,0000

∴ Number of bricks are 200,0000
