How many bricks of measure 25 cm x 16 cm x 10 cm are
required to make a wall of size 20 m long, 5 m wide and 50 cm thick while
there is a door of size 2 mx 1.5 m and two windows of size 1.5 mx1 m? Find
the cost of bricks at the rate of 280 per thousand.

So, vol of 1 brick = 4000/ 1000000 cubic cm

Volume of door and window=2*1.5*0.5 + 1.5*1*0.5

                                               =2.25cubic m.

Volume of wall to be filled with bricks=50-2.25 =47.75cubic m

Number os bricks =47.75/0.04

                              =1193.75  =1194

cost of 1 brick=1000/280

cost of 1194 bricks=1194*(1000/280)

                             =4264.28571 = 4264
