80000 bricks will be required.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : A wall which is 4.9 m long, 8 m high and 2.4 m thick if each bricks measure 24 cm  thick if each bricks measure 24cm  multiply 12. 25 CM multiply 4 cm

To find : How many bricks will be required ?

Solution :

A wall which is 4.9 m long, 8 m high and 2.4 m thick.

The volume of the wall is V=l\times w\times h

V_w=4.9\times 2.4\times 8

V_w=94.08\ m^3

Each bricks measure 24 cm  × 12.25 cm × 4 cm

Convert cm into m,

1 cm = 0.01 m

24 cm = 0.24 m

12.25 cm = 0.1225 m

4 cm = 0.04 m

The volume of the brick is V=l\times w\times h

V_b=0.24\times 0.1225\times 0.04

V_b=0.001176\ m^3

The number of bricks will be required is

n=\frac{\text{Volume of wall}}{\text{Volume of brick}}

n=\frac{94.08}{0.001176}

n=80000

Therefore, 80000 bricks will be required.
