Step-by-step explanation:

Let the Number of Bricks required to lay the Path be : N

Given that : Length of Brick is = 24cm

Breadth of the Brick is = 15cm

⇒ Area of the Brick on the Top will be : 24 × 15 = 360cm²

Given that : Length of the Path is 120m = 12000cm

Breadth of the Path is 2.4m = 240cm

⇒ Area of the Path = (12000 × 240) cm²

In order to solve this problem, we need to Notice that the Top Area of the Total Number of Bricks used should be Equal to Total Area of the Path.

⇒ Number of Bricks used × Top Area of the Bricks = Area of the Path

⇒ N × 360 = 12000 × 240

⇒ N × 3 = 100 × 240

⇒ N = 8000

⇒ Number of Bricks used to lay the path are : 8000
