Depth of the well = 20 m

The well is of Cylindrical shape
So Volume of the well V= $\pi r^{2}h$

V = $\frac{22}{7}×(5)^{2}×(7)$

V = $22×25$

V = $550$



Therefore,
Earth must be dug out 550 m³ to sink the well
