How many different triangles can be draw with sides 8and 6 cm and area 12 cm

Given :

Area of the triangle = 12 sq cm.

The two sides of the triangle, AB = 8 cm and AC = 6 cm.

Let the <BAC = theta.

[AB*AC*sin BAC]/2 = 12, or

sin BAC = [2*12]/[8*6] = 0.5

Hence <BAC = 30 deg.

So we can have one triangle with AB = 8 cm, AC = 6 cm and <BAC = 30 deg, and its area will be 12 sq cm.
