hello there!

In the case n=6 , so the element must be CARBON whose electronic configuration is C= 2 ,4

here only two shells are filled .

so the one in which 4 are filled is the outermost one and and the subshell is the one in which 2 electrons are flled

so in subshells 2 electrons are filled.
