How many electrons in sulphur can have n + 1 equal to 3?

n+1=3 so n=2 means electron belong to 2nd shell. electronic configuration of sulphur is, 1s²,2s²2p6,3s²3p⁴ in this configuration only 8 elections belong to 2nd shell therefore your answer is ===8===
