Given - Dimensions of paper and envelopes

Find - Number of envelopes that can be made.

Solution - 125 envelopes can be made from a given sheet of paper.

To find the number of envelopes that can be made, we will be requiring an area of paper and envelopes first.

Area of the sheet of paper = 125*85 cm²

Area of envelopes = 17*5 cm²

Now, number of envelopes = area of the sheet of paper/area of envelopes

Number of envelopes = (125*85)/(17*5)

Number of envelopes = 10625/85

Number of envelopes = 125

Thus, 125 envelopes can be made from a given sheet of paper.
