How many envelopes cn be made out of a sheet of paper 384 cm by 172 cm , if each envelope requires a piece of paper of size 16 cm by 12 cm

first we find Area of the sheet of paper= length × breadth

Area of the sheet of paper = l×b

 384 \times 172 =  {66048cm}^{2}

Now we find area of each each envelope .

Here given dimensions a piece of paper of size length 16 cm breadth 12 cm.


Area of each envelope Sheet paper = length × breadth

16cm \times 12cm =  {192cm}^{2}
