heya...

here is ur answer...

Atomic Weight of magnesium = 24 gm

There are 6.023 x 10 ^23 atoms of magnesium in 24 gm of Magnesium.

24 gm of Magnesium contains 6.023 x 10^23 atoms

For 12 gm of Magnesium contains

(12 /24) x 6.023 x 10^23

6.023 x 10^23/2 atoms magnesium

3.0115 x 10 ^23 atoms of magnesium

3.0115 x 10^23.

Hope it helps uuuu....

DebioshiDutta: shouldn't it be 6.022×10²³??

◀️◀️ ANSWER ▶️▶️

no of atom present in 24 gm of mg = ?

molar mass of mg = 24

given mass = 24

number of atoms = number of mole ×NA ×

Atomicity.

(NA = avagadro number which is 6.022 × 10^23 )

given mass / molar mass × 6.022 × 10^ 23 × 1

( Atomicity of mg is 1 )

=24/24 × 6.022×10^23×1

= 6.022×10^23

hence , the answer is 6.022 × 10^23 atoms of mg .

number of atoms in 24 gm of mg = 6.022× 10^ 23 .
