acetic acid=CH3COOH

molar mass of CH3COOH=12+3+12+16+16+1
=60g

molarity = \frac{mass}{molar \: mass} \times \frac{1000}{volume(ml)}

 0.5 = \frac{mass}{60} \times \frac{1000}{500}

0.5 = \frac{mass}{60} \times 2

0.5 = \frac{mass}{30}

mass = 0.5 \times 30 \\ mass = 15

So,15 g of acetic acid are present in 500ml of its 0.5M solutions
