Molar mass of Na = 23 g/mole

Molar mass of Na2O2 = 23*2 + 16*2 = 46+16 = 62 g/mole

According to the given reaction, (4Na + O2 gives 2Na2O2) 23*4 i.e 92 g of Na burns in air to give 2*62 i.e 124 g of Na2O2

So,1 g of Na will burn in air to give Na2O2 = 124/92 g

Therefore, 46 g of Na will burn in air to give Na2O2 = 46*124/92 = 62 g

So, 62 g of Na2O2 is formed by burning 46 g of Na in air
